AMMI MEMBERSHIP
  1. Admission to the Association will be determined solely by the Board of Directors and in accordance with the relevant provision hereinafter contained
  2. Each application will be countersigned by a proposer and seconder, each of whom should be a full member of the Association
  3. The election of members shall be by resolution of the Board of Directors
  4. Upon election to membership the applicant shall be so notified by the Board of Directors, shall be furnished with a copy of the Rules of the Association and shall be enrolled as a member, specifying the appropriate classification
  5. The determination of applications for membership shall be by any means(whether by ballots or otherwise) as the Board of Directors may from time to time decide and the admission of members shall be entirely in the hands of the Board of Directors who may refuse or reject any application for membership without giving any reason thereof
  6. There will be no restriction on number of membership
  7. A member upon his admission shall be bound by the Rules of the Association
  8. All members shall provide AMMI's Secretariat Office complete information and data as required in the yearly questionnaire. This is essential to produce a comprehensive and updated annual Industry Report of the Association. Information provided by members will be kept confidential by the Secretariat office.


ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP SUBSCRIPTION

  1. The membership subscription for Full Members will be based on the annual sales turnover of the company
  2. The membership subscription for Associate Members is at a flat subscription of RM1,500.00 per year
  3. All subscription fees will be payable on the 1st January each year, except for new members, whose fees will be prorated on a quarterly basis
  4. Membership enquiries, submission of the application and fee payment should be directed to Chairman of the Membership Committee


DEFAULT
If any subscription fee due under the provision of Art. 7 is due by any member and remains unpaid after expiration of a period of (one) 1 month from the due date for payment thereof, the Board of Directors may give written notice to such member to the effect that if any such subscription fee or other amount is not paid in full within such period (not being less than ten (10) days as may be prescribed by the term of such notice), the member will be liable to be expelled from the Association. In the event that payment of all outstanding amounts still not received by the Association within the limited period as foresaid, the Board of Directors shall give to the member in default written notice, to the effect that he has been expelled from the Association.
